Brief Description
BIMS Hospital is proud to welcome Dr. Tanmay P. Vagh, a highly qualified and dedicated Nephrologist hailing from Bhavnagar. He brings a strong academic background and extensive hands-on experience in advanced nephrology care.
Dr. Vagh completed his MBBS from C.U. Shah Medical College, Surendranagar, followed by an MD in Pediatrics from Government Medical College, Bhavnagar. He further pursued his passion for kidney care by completing his DM in Nephrology at Mahatma Gandhi Medical College, Jaipur.
Over a span of 3 years at MGM Jaipur, Dr. Vagh was actively involved in more than 1,050 renal transplant procedures, including both live and cadaveric transplants.

- Insertion of DLC (temporary dialysis catheter) and PERMCATH (permanent dialysis catheter)
- Ultrasound-guided renal biopsy (native and post-transplant graft)
- Managing critical cases of Acute Kidney Injury (AKI)
Providing advanced dialysis care, including:
- Intermittent Hemodialysis (IHD)
- Slow Low Efficiency Dialysis (SLED)
- Plasmapheresis / Plasma Exchange (PLEX)
- Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
